- Up to $350 OR Dept of Energy tax credit on 95% + AFUE gas furnace with electrically-efficient (AHRI e-rated) ECM
- $150 Federal energy tax credit**on 95%+AFUE natural gas furnace or 95%+AFUE boiler
- $50 Federal Energy Tax Credit on a qualifying advanced main air circulating fan (ECM)
* Tax payer must deduct any federal tax credits from the eligible cost when calculating allowable tax credit amounts with the state.
**The maximum a taxpayer may claim on 2011 taxes from all Fed home improvement energy tax credits combined in $500 which applies to all qualifying furnaces, water heaters, a/c and other energy efficiency mjeasures claimed between Jan 1, 2006 and Dec 31, 2011. If customer took more than teh $500 maximum credit in 200 and 2010, then n o additional federal energy tax credits would be available.
